He's gone for now although he is coming back. It's the same with every rapper e.g. Jay-Z in his song "Encore" he says "when I come back like Jordan" so he's coming back. And Tupac in his last album in "Ambitions as a rider" says "I've been hesitant to reappear, wait for years till by advisarys been reduced to tears" although I doubt he's still alive. I have a feeling that he was gonna stop for a while after that album and then come back. It's all the same, it's the money. That's how they play the game.
I was watching TRL the other day and just so happens he called in. He said he was taking a break from music which is the main reason he put out his "Hits" CD. He said he wasn't sure if he is going to get back into music or not. I don't like people who say something when they don't know the truth about it.
Woot, one pathetic rapper is gonnnne ! yay... loll just kidding. Seriously, I don't really like rap but Eminem is such a really good person to take as a model. If you look at it, he went to the top ones really fast. He was known and grown with a not-bad reputation. I admire him but I don't really like him. Sad to see a guy like him retire.
i didnt read this whole topic, so i dont know if its been answered, but hes not leaving for good. he is taking a break for a while, and he is going to work on his production company and such. hes not quitting for good though.

Eminem seems unsure himself on a return or not. I'd assume that after some signifigant time away he'd wanna step up to the mic again, but everyone needs a break once in awhile. I'd assume that he's probably gonna focus more on producing stuff for other people and running his label for now. Who knows, he might end up like Dre and only put out an album once in a long while.
