    We're going to shoot a little music video, and then I'm wondering - What's the best program to editing, effects etc..?

    Haven't heard of any other video editing tools for effects. So, yeah, I would also say to use Adobe Premiere

    adobe after effects is what i am a couple of my friends use

    i think its the best but thats just my 2 cents

    Adobe Premiere and After effects are both good but very expensive. You might be satisfied with Windows Movie Maker. You will be surprised what you can accomplish with the program.

    haha that is true too but my friend (rich $$ guy) bought us all keys so its okay for me
