This is just sad news. Eddie Guerrero was the one who brought me back to watching wrestling. But something doesnt feel right about the way they said they found him. Maybe im just being paranoid. Eddie will surely be missed by everybody.

I just read the news yestersat and was incredibly shocked. What a loss, a big loss as well. But questions need to be asked why are so many young wrestlers these days are just dying? One minute, healthy as hell, next minute just like that they gone, i have a feeling there is something in the back they ain't telling us that is just having these wrestler die all of a sudden, i have my suspicions but what a major loss and a big shame.

Sidenote: I haven't read the entire thread. 9 pages is a little too much, in case questions have been answered already.

    Some new info:
    > Eddie Guerrero Funeral

Superstar Billy Graham announced tonight on Dave Meltzer's radio program that Eddie Guerrero's funeral will be held at his church in Phoenix, AZ in the next few days.

Graham was very close to Eddie outside of the ring, Graham said he has been asked by Eddie's wife to perform the service. Graham said that it will be an honor to preside over Eddie's service since he was so close to him.

it is believed that Eddie had suffered a fatal heart attack according to Meltzer which led to his death. Eddie has been clean and sober for overmfour years after dealing with drug abuse.

    >No Sign of Foul Play in Wrestler's Death
AP) (MINNEAPOLIS) There are no signs of foul play in the death of World Wrestling Entertainment star Eduardo Gory Guerrero, found dead in his Minneapolis hotel room. But it may be weeks before police determine what killed the WWE star.

WWE is based in Stamford, Conn.

Authorities said Guerrero, 38, didn't respond to a wake-up call Sunday. His nephew and hotel security at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center forced their way into the room and found him.

Police say there were no apparent signs of foul play. An autopsy is planned.

WWE chairman Vince McMahon calls Guerrero's death "a huge loss.''

Guerrero was a featured star on the UPN series "WWE Smackdown!'' and son of Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero. Last year, he became the second wrestler of Hispanic heritage to be WWE champion, though he lost the title four months later.

MINNEAPOLIS -- There were no immediate signs of foul play in the death of a World Wrestling Entertainment star whose body was found in a Minneapolis hotel room, authorities said.

An autopsy to determine how 38-year-old Eduardo Gory Guerrero died was planned for Monday. On its Web site, the Stamford, Conn.-based WWE said Guerrero's body will then be flown to Phoenix and funeral arrangements are set for Wednesday in Scottsdale, Ariz.

More News On Guerrero's Funeral, European Tour

    Partial Source: The Torch

JBL was on MSNC this afternoon and noted that Eddie was found holding a toothbrush and noted that he likely 'died instantly'. He noted that to the 'Best of his knowledge" Eddie has been clean for over 4 years. He said Eddie made his career and ended the interview with "Thank you, it is an honor to talk about my friend, Eddie Guerrero." For those unaware, Guerrero was a groomsman for JBL at his wedding

Eddie Guerrero's funeral will be held in Phoenix, Ariz. later this week. Some reports say Wednesday while WWE.com says Funeral arrangements are set for Thursday. Billy Graham will do the services.

There are a number of wrestlers that did not leave today for the European tour (Benoit, Malenko, Mysterio, Batista). They will join the tour after the funeral services are held later this week.

    Matches on Raw
    Tonight on RAW:

    John Cena vs. Randy Orton.

Big Show & Kane vs. MNM.

    Shelton Benjamin vs. Kurt Angle.

Diva Battle Royal featuring Divas from Raw and Smackdown.

    Eugene vs. Simon Dean.

    Ric Flair vs. William Regal.

    Shawn Michaels vs. Rey Mysterio.

There are also various segments with the guys backstage where they talk about Eddie Guerrero's past. For those who watched the tribute show after Owen Hart passed away, this is very similar in that the guys speak their mind on Eddie and most tear up including Triple H, Big Show, Batista, and Chris Benoit. There is a backstage segment on SmackDown! where Vince McMahon tears up as well. Nobody is taking this passing well. It's just such a somber period of time and we would really advise you to check out both WWE shows this week.
