I think the skin should be changed. cause if its a new forum, a nice skin will affect it alot, alot.

I would say something about the banner, but with my skin change suggestion, obviously a different banner would come too.

also, atleast atleast get a free domain name (.tk, etc.) to shorten up the url, and make it semi more attractive. also, if your not going to have a website, I suggest switching to a host that focuses on forums more. ( I suggest http://invisionfree.com or http://clicdev.com)

i like the skin. nice and dark with not a really bright yellow. just the banner is a little too plain. i just wish it was like blue or red

Looks pretty nice, I like the name and the new posts and stuff beside each forum, the banners at the top are pretty annoying though. Also try to get your own domain, it makes it look much more professional, 8/10, get more members also

 

Idea - Dark concept is nice, bg is just plain black. 3/5
Skin - Nice skin, again, plain black bg =.= 3/5
Colours - Colours nicely used, 4/5
Extras - Invisible advertisement text. Even though its an advertisement, i think showing the words is better. : / ..

It's a nice site to start off with, but you need a real domain name. You also need a mainpage that links to the forum.

By looking at the forum, it seems as if you need something to attract more members. Try giving away free tuts or psds so people will join.

 

I DO give away free stuff. I offered 40 PSDs free snf lke 10 tuts! I get like 11 gusests at a time but thats it...

 

Well, they need a reason to join your forum. You could try putting up a quick-register form on the top of your forum for guests or something.

 

*sigh..* I dont know I did do a forced register thing before but people just got mad...

 

As everyone else said:

- purchase a true domain name and hosting. Ity will really help in the long run.
- I personally like the banner perse, but would fade it in on the left, top and bottom so it isn't a contrast in colors stacatto type deal.
- I do not like the blurry post icons for new, read, sticky, etc. Hurts my eyes.
- create a main page for general information about the site, what you want to accomplish, etc.

I like the name. The layout is ugly. It's kinda like all of the other graphic forums. Although I do like the Get Rated forum that seems fun.
