those are fake you fool.
no aliens have visited earth. hell no.
we are talking about the probability of aliens inhabiting other worlds- which btw is a close to 0% that were are the only life in the universe.

the fact that god doesn't exist is why we can't factually disprove him.
we can state the obvious- he is intangible, you can't feel, see, hear, speak to, or touch him. But religeous people like you can just make up something simple to null the facts just stated, all you have to say is some false truth like "he is in our hearts" ect. ect.

in a sense the arguement will go on forever, and you guys have the upper hand.
You're the fool putting words in my mouth..i know aliens wouldn't come down to earth and eat pizza with me. Hmm..i think everyone knew that was just a joke.

Actully, they have fused more complex atoms, as long as they are under the atomic weight of Iron, they can fused together. Thats why when you mix Tritium (Hydrogen with 2 neutrons) with Hydrogen, you get helium... its very weird but it wall works out. Thats what nuclear fusion is.

Anything over Iron is too unstable and will literally fall apart at the highspeeds and cause a larger explosion than anything known.
arnt you a smart ass dude size 10 shoe peace of uranium they used
and you rewrote what i said they use better stuff now no duh radiation isnt as bad as the explosion and gamma rays tell me when other nuclear bombs were droped i dont recall i dont think there has been anything since hiroshima except testing so how do you know whats going to happen get a brain and stop quoting people and being smart.....
and everyone else there is defenetly a possible way to make a bigger bomb
they dont even use uranium anymore it is way better and bigger the bombs we've droped were created by such a small piece....just learn what your talking bout please

Dude.. Seriously, common...

First of all Gamma Rays are Radiation, the highest grade of radiation to be exact.

If you actully read what I said, Testing is OUT of conflict, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were IN conflict. In or out, they are nuclear bombs. If you knew how nuclear fission works, you'd know you only need a small amout to make such a large explosion. And I'm not acting smart, just because I have knowledge in this, doesn't mean I'm a smart ass.

Im now going to explain what NUCLEAR FISSION is, because frankly, not a lot of you know how it works.

1 free neutron is bombarded into a nucleus, which penetrates, and splits the nucleus. Thus, Alpha, Beta and Gamma Rays are realeased (depending on the atom), along with 3 more free neutrons. Which will go on to split 3 other nuclei, and 9 more after that, 27 after that, etc. This all happens within a very fast period of time.

Its hard to explain, but if its not contained, the process will contiue untill all atoms a disposed, thats why nuclear bombs are so very dangerous.

If thats not the reply you wanted Gereral Kid. And I do pay attention in Science Class, I actually go beyond the class, my opa is an Astrophysicist fyi...

Just becuase I show high intrest doesnt mean Im better than you, nor are you better than me.. Now stop with the flames and get back to topic

didnt mean to call you a smart ass it was just rude of you to quote everyone cuz this is an opinion thread anyways agent lomaiine said all there is to be said and you said that many nuclear bombs have gone off ive counted two...
sorry for the disruption

Thats the thing though, no one can explain to you if the Supernatural and if the Paranormal exist. I think thats where this whole discussion is going, that no matter hard we try, no matter how much we know, we still cannot explain whats beyond our own knowledge and understanding.

We can sure try. People choose to do it through one of two ways. Some will try to do it through science. Others will do it through religion. Science is the search for external truth. Religion is the search for internal truth. The problem roots from religion trying to explain phenomina without including science. Science will fail in understanding the internal truths, if it doesn't include the aspect of religion. Science and religion should co-exist as they are two aspects of the same thing, but they don't, and that is really damaging our understanding and knowledge.

You can try for them to coexist, but its impossible, one will always think of superiority over the other, thinking that one is always right, and the other is always wrong. It'll never happen, sorry to be so pessimistic, but arrogance is human nature...

I mean take this thread for example, you have conservative catholics versus me lol, you have the religion vs science, you have the astronaut science theory vs catholicism and all other Abrahamic Beliefs...

Well were supposed to be moving forward, well according to ever religion there is, but to me we arent. We may be advancing scienetifically, but that isn't a good things.. some things are best to be left alone.

And no :S not really, times aren't changing, The Catholic Church is still disregarding science, persecuting almost. I mean look at Galileo for example, just because his thoughts were contreverisial to the church, he was imprisoned.

It makes me laugh, a once punished religion, is now the "superior"

Just look at the crucifix (sp) Jesus' arms are up, saying "we're better than all of you"

Catholic church still has influence, that is true, but not at the level they had that many years ago.

Would you eleborate on what your saying about the crucifix and Jesus?

also on the alien topic, i belive aliens are real, i mean think about it..why would god just creat us? think about it..it seems relitivaly stupi...thats just my opinion on this stuff

What do you mean by elaborate?

Im serious though, a few years ago His arms used to be straight across, open wide. Now, his arms have been lifted, in the cause of compition between religions... Its true, we talked about this in my philosophy class.
