I agree with you life is very resilliant, but I think you're forgetting how fragile it is as well. The fact that conditions have been met long enough for life to evolve for life to exist as we know it is, in a sense, "miraculous". Of course I am referring to complex, multi-cellular organism, since microscopic organisms have been found to exist on Mars.
Im no biologist, (my opa is actully an astrophysicist, Im only 14 >.< thats the reason somewhat why Im not that ignorant) I personally do not know the chemicals needed for life to acutlly "live", well I know nitrogen, carbon and oxygen.. thats bout it... My views are just I think its highly inconceivable that we are the only intelligent organism in physical existance.. just very unlikely... **off topic** ive also noticed that there are only 4ish people that are continiously in discussions lol**
^_^ I don't know either, but I know the first organisms were made from methane, mixed with electricity. Some scientists are approaching the definition of life differently. That's why some say, viruses are alive and others say it is not. Basically, life is the ability for something to gather and utilize energy around it, which is what our cells do. A few scientists are saying our view of how the origins of life is too narrow. They are attempting to create an organism from other types of building materials other than organic methane. This is also where the fear of nanotechnology comes in, that is self-sustaining "nano bots" would act like biological cells, except on an atomic levels, like cells they would gather materials from their surroundings. Unlike biological creatures, "nanobots" would take individual atoms and utilize them, eventually consuming all materials on the Earth. Anyways, I am just saying that, life may exist elsewhere but it may not be the kind of life we are accoustomed to, that in which organisms are composed of mostly carbon and survive on oxygen. We are the only ones attempting to have a disscussion on this topic which is cool, and btw, I am 17.

And then, brought them back to the tribe a short time later... the 2 that were taken reported to have been poked with sharp sticks, one more so then the other... Ok... i'm back and it seems as though nobody has seen this yet... ah well The tribe also carved something very cool and trippy.. they carved(in stone) a picture of 2 tribe'smen serving grapes to one of the Ananarcy(in the depiction, the Ananarcy looks just like us(human'ish)) ... Now there are 2 things in this stone picture that makes it so unique. 1) in the pic - the two human servants are standing up straight... now that in itself is nothing special... but, if u look at the Ananarcy character, He's head is at the same level/height as the servents... BUT the Ananarcy dude is sitting down in a chair/throne. Now when u think about it, if his head is at the same height as the servents who are standing up straight... then when the Ananarcy dude stands up.. he would be atleast 1/3 bigger then a male African... That is FREAKIN' massive... and 2).. in the background of this image... they have carved out the typical image of our solar system (the typical image of the planets and their orbit that u find in every science text book), even the moons that orbit the planets... this depiction of our galaxy is so accurate that there is even a moon in the carving that we(modern humans) didn't find up n' till about 10-15 years or so ago... do u know how epic that really is :huh: ... I mean, we'r talkin' about 10,000 years B.C.. before NASA.... heck.. even before 'telescopes' were invented or even thought up, lol More to come people

@ grunt. there were giants in africa exactly like there were hobbit like persons found on an island-i forget the name but they weren't midgets. they were perfectly normal; just 4 1/2 feet tall. the reason them giant men died out was because, in the plains of africa it is very hot; and the body size to skin ratio was very small, basicly they didn't have the cooling system to keep them cool.

Ok, its Anuaky not Ananarky lol... Read Zacharia Sitchin, I have all his books, his basis of belief is called like Scienctific Theory or osmething like... What it is was there was another race, the Anuaky, and the had an alchemist name Elohim, its really farfetched but its actually quite interesting... Im not goign to explain everything, but I recommend his books, the first one is called "12th Planet" and the second is "Stairway to heaven" there is a series of 11 books, Ive only read the 2, very good He backs everything up though, with facts, artifacts, and everything you can think of.
