E8400 Temperature?

    I'm running an intel E8400, at stock speed of 3ghz. Using an artic cooling freezer 7.
    Using core temp, it shows core0 is 37, and core 1 is 53. At pretty much idle.
    I' have refitted the heat sink, is this normal for this chip?

    it's abnormal is the IHS severely concave?

    I'll take it off again tomo. Check with a razor etc.
