i was thinkin the same, KotoR I and II were great, a III on the console would have been awesome with these graphics. Is it just me or is this what lucas should be looking at for any future movies, beats episodes I - III for me haha.
It will most likely revolve around another war, much larger than the civil war between the Sith and the Jedi. (This game is a continuation of KOTOR, they mention Malak in one of the other videos for this game on IGN) So making it an MMO will allow you to choose your side, probably change it later, and fight with tons of people against tons of other people.
hmm like world of warcraft... not a huge fan of those games, but i dont think they said its an rpg, he just said MMO, which i guess means massive multiplayer online? and the fact that BIOWARE is behind this game, im assuming that this is going to be more like KoToR, anyone else think the same thing?
its an rpg yes, but not an rpg like world of warcraft. since BIOWARE is creating this game, im thinking its going to be a online multiplayer KoToR. thats just my thoughts on it
Exactly. When I said It's probably like WoW, I meant how you interact with the world and other players in the game will be like WoW. The combat system will be real time as well since it'd be ridiculous to have the pausing thing in KOTOR.
No, when I recieved an email about this months ago, Bioware made it quite clear this would be an MMO. TBH, I think it would work very well, as long as it doesn't become so time-consuming as WoW. Guildwars wasn't, and that was probably one of the main reasons people liked it. Bioware have a lot of ability for creating amazing storylines (Think KOTOR and Neverwinter Nights), and I think this game could be awesome, and I would most likely play it, as long as it doesn't require giving up 5+ hours a day.
Yes but that's possible on just an RPG...it doesn't have to be MMO...except the last part...they should've made KOTOR III first, then TOR.
