Dvd Rippers

    What is a good but FREE program to rip a dvd onto your computer?
    I have a few music vid dvd's that i want to put on my laptop but cant find a good free program to use.

    If it's not free, patch it. Not like you are worried about legal things anyhow

    Just to clear things up. I'm not a patcher, but when someone is doing something like this, may as well suggest it...

    to dvd format=dvd shrink
    to avi format=fairuse

    I think Nero can do it... it's got a few burning programs out.. once again google it.

    you know that's not allowed to be talked about on here... and if you didnt know, it is NOT free... Even I knew that..

    @ Titan- Astro wants to rip it onto his laptop, not burn it on to another DVD. Nero cannot rip it, it can only copy it to another DVD, i would think...

    dvd shrink is defnitely the way to go.
    you know how the dvd;s that you rent might say that it is copy rightprotected when using some burners like nero?
    dvd shrink, decodes the dvd, and you can save it to your hard drive as well
