Basically I got a ghost in the shell dvd from amazon.com
I tried to play it in the dvd player and it gave a message saying "wrong region." Now I'm trying to watch it on the PC, but when the pop up comes up it doesn't show winamp in the list. I see windows media player, but that stopped working on the pc for while ago, so I uninstalled it, but it still shows up in a list whenver I try to play music. So can anyone tell me why it said wrong region and if it's possible to play it on the PC?

You basically need a region free dvd player. Depending on what brand and type of dvd player your using will dictate what it will play. You can now get cheap priced region free dvd players at stores. In regard to playing your dvd onto your pc, try using VLC player. It's free and plays everything including HDTV playback. Try doing a search on google. Goodluck.
