I prefer DS, but not because of competitive things.. I just prefer Nintendo over Sony. It's proved to be a worthwhile gaming company in the past.
wich arent necicary because i already have an mp3 player. and its to expensive, and why wouldi watch movies on that little screen. why would i want to listen music on it? why would i want to have a camera on it? i already have that sh!t. i dont need it again. i jsut want to play games on it, nothing more nothing less. nothing. im going for the originality of the DS. sony doesnt own nintendo see the stats for yourself. nintendo has a lot more cash income. nintendo > sony. sony is only going to the "hype" the ----ing "whore" orcourse it has better graphics. but wasnt there a golden rule? it went something liek this : playability > graphics. also nintendo has a new market. RTS. just think about it. STARCRAFT comes for the DS. and you know blizzard. this is going to be awesome big time. psp. well you cant play rts on it. nice all those racegames. also one of my favorite genres. but comon, only race and sport? no. i still choose for DS. its less expensive. all my friends already have an DS. so i can own them at multiplayer, when the special internet "adaptor" is out, im going online with 8 players on the most massive rts battles only on DS. dont get me wrong. the psp is a better machine. it can produce more polygons. but what the heck. im not buying it for polygons. i want to have a good time. not jsut oooh and aah. but also somethign to play with. and the battery capacitys of the psp seriously are to low. after 5-6 hours on a normal-speedy game. DS has 15 hours. i jsut go to my friends. we play at school. at my friends place. with the 8 of us. and when im going home. the light is still green. but i jsut plug it into the net, and tomorrow morning its full again. dont think of me as a "nintendoid" i started with a sega megadrive 2 after that a playstation one. then an XBOX. and now a DS. so im not pledging for nintendo. because i have one of all big console sellers (cept sega now )

Its great how you really took time to explain your reasoning. -- IMO DS is a better portable gaming machine cause they actually focus on games and not on the useless accessories like an MP3 player that can fit 5 songs on it. And the PSP is getting alot more cross platform titles and its basically a PSX but the DS atleast has something unique with the touchscreen and all.
you can also go online with the DS. so first get some info about what your talking kid. secondly who cares about multi media. i already have an mp3 player dvd player-recorder television
id say psp cuz many reasons.. 1) sony made it lol 2) betta graphix 3) betta gameplay 4) watch movies 5) has lotta games for it already
PSP . better grafixs better games can play mp3's movies pic's and it can go online u can play muitl player with any network hook ups just filp the sitch but u the other player cant go out of the range of 50 feet DS . looks just like a GBA and 64 grafixs (sucks) and the games out for are baby games and gay games nothing good to big and heavy and who will want to touch a sceen? <<<----- DS is a LOAD of sh*t ... waste of money PSP gets my vote PS : hey i woulder if they may come out with a XBOX Portble in the future sorry about my spelling
Highly doubt the Xbox portable. There is already one, the Laptop. What I know about the DS is that there are a lot of games coming out for it. PsP is much better. it has better graphics, better selection of games, the ability of watching movies, saving music, pictures, the internet, updating the software. these all just seem to push aside the DS so easily.
psp has movie and mp3 and stuff, but even without i, it still pwns DS, bigger screen, better controls, better graphixs. psp can even browse the net
