My friend has a DS, and the games for it all sucked.....I might as well buy a 64 for a cheaper price...
I have a DS and im satisfied with it. If i really want to watch movies and listen to music i would just get a cd player and a cheap portable dvd player. Sure the PSP has great gfx for a handheld, but really, in my opinion, i think that too many games came out at launch, y? because i really havent seen that many PSP games come out since it launched, and yes i know thats the same with DS, but DS has some really great games coming out like Nintendogs and Animal Crossing DS. Nintendogs basically is selling the DS over in Japan right now. If you think about it though PSP may be better but from the sales, DS is more popular, especially when you put the sales of DS going way up since electric blue came out. Im not sure but i think 2 million more were sold when electric blue ds came out and that proves that coming out with a different color for a handheld/console isnt wasting a company's time, its showing that they want there customers to have something new. Yea im sure the many people who bought PSP are very satisfied with there purchase, but I really dont see whats so great about it. Now what really would be cool is if PSP had a phone, but then it would be more than it already is. I like the DS because it doesn't have complicated menus, and im not sure about PSP because ive never actually played one myself, but from what ive seen on some shows on G4 the menu seems like it may be a little difficult for some people, but it really shouldnt be. The DS's games arent horrible, lets just say that a lot of them havent used the touch screen to its full potential yet. Many games in the future should though because the touch screen is an interesting idea because it hasnt been used on a handheld that i know of. The pictochat feature is a cool thing to put into the DS, Im not sure if PSP will have IM but i think it will. It really doenst matter which one is better it only matters which one you like more and you think that your getting the best deal of and are most satisfied with. For me DS, because im the more casual gamer, not one of the people who play Everquest for hours on end. The DS has fun games that are easy to get into and im not saying that the PSP doesnt its just that the DS is a handheld for everyone unlike the PSP which is geared more towards the older gamer. People who call Nintendo "kiddy" really should think again because Nintendo isnt "kiddy" they just like to make games for everyone to enjoy and that arent complicated and hard to play. Im sure that both handhelds will succeed and have some great games in the future.

i typed that much because i'm saying what i think about them both and gave some pros and cons and people who dont bother to read that are lazy, no offense.
it wont make anyone buy it.....yet tons were sold. yeah makes tons of sense lol if they both suck then why would you go with either?
I don't get how people says PSP is like a portable PS2 the graphics aren't Nearly as good.... I don't really like either and I cant really pick either... I like em both kinda... WARIOWARE TOUCHED IS AWESOME! lol and Metal Gear AC!D is cool. So I'm not picking either... I'll tell you what system owns.... XBOX. W00T 360. lol

Ridge racer? SUCKS Wario ware inc?? ADDICTED!!!!! Name 1 game worth getting on the psp? well? ive heard nothing but ----ty reviews for the psp and none of the ds...Lol
Sadly, if you look at IGN's and GameSpot's review scores for PSP games, they are higher than the DS's.
really doesnt matter, you dont need to agree, you may think the music is good, but they might think it sucks
