Hey everyone, Well I just downloaded the trial version of Dreamweaver 8 and I just hate having to go through the whole process of learning things by taking my sweet time and just getting used to it all, like I did with Photoshop. But this time, I am really wanting a few pointers and tips and anything else you think a beginner would need to know before screwing around with the great program. Thanks all, + Rep available to all who provide me with useful information. Josh
well, if you already know html well, DW should come easy for you. I never read any of those books, I just messed with it until I got what I liked.
Well although DW does most of the html and coding for you you should still have basic knowledge of the languages, once you understand them its all easy stuff, its like microsoft word really.. yea think of it that way..
Coding is hard. I'm just getting into it and in the process of my first site launch. I'm sure you knew this much yourself, but: Follow tutorials until you can go on your own: http://www.pixel2life.com/tutorials/DreamWeaver/All/ And get an HTML book as a reference. Good luck!
