Downside To Dynamic Ip?

    My dsl box allows me to do this, atleast i think lol...but i was just wondering if it was a good idea to this or not..that or just keep the same static ip. And Also if i set it to dynamic will i be able to join stuff that i was banned on before, not that i was lol..just asking

    I'd like to have a dynamic ip for when i get bans... but for now i'll stick with my proxies.

    Wouldn't a static IP be better if you have more than one for bans? ANYWAYS... a dynamic is just something that is 'rented' out to you... in a way... when it is time your Dynamic changes.. or when you reconect to your network then you get another one. Erm... you can set it either way if your ISP allows. That is is all I can tell you. It is up to you.

    A static ip is always useful if youre using your system as a server, like with files for example.
    Means people just have to know your ip to access it, whereas if its dynamic you would have muhc more trouble with it lol
