Is it normal for certain games to download faster than others? For example, i download red orchestra at 15 KB/Sec while i can download Rag Doll Kong Fu at 140 KB/Sec.
yes, it depends on the traffic goin to the server the game files are hosted on e.g: ragdoll kung-fu could be hosted on a euro server with less traffic but red orchestra could be hosted on the main valve servers in seattle could have high traffic due to them being the main servers or a patch for another game could be eating all their bandwith
