i have a pet peeve against people who claim that people who don't like things just don't understand them. it's a really poor copout instead of posting a valid opinion about it.
Lets face it how many times have hollywood tried to turn a game into a film and failed.... wingcommander anyone?
hasnt even come out in Australia yet lol...another 4 days, comes out on the 28th of October. But ill see it anyway, because i rather enjoy watching movie remakes of games to see how "similar" etc and what aspects of the game they have incorperated in the movie. First person mode in the movie would be sweet, dont think many movies have put that in. The FPS mode in the movie, does it only show the gun, or actual HP etc aswell? lol.
sigh, all these failed attemps at making a movie from a game, though I guess they will get enough people into the cinema, because the game is pretty well-known...

Resident Evil was stupid, not scary. *looks down a couple threads and sees something with the exact same title as this thread* EDIT: Then mine needs to be closed.
I personally loved it, but I don't think those people who aren't fans of the games -- the ORIGINAL Dooms -- or are just seeing it because their friends are should not see this.
I have all doom games lmao, my dad got me into it lmfao... so ya haha I actully dont want to see it... looks cheesy, but meh, I need to get out hah
