I have an iPod, the only prob is the headphone output is screwed, but the sound quality is better than anything else. Creatives suck, sonys such etc. etc.
I agree IPODS are very overrated i was also thinking of an IPOD but changed my mind into buying some other MP3 PLayer either from Creative or a well established company like Toshiba or maybe SONY
ye Ipods suck imo.....the Dell DJ is better.................................i go to a preppie school and they all got iPods and think they're cool then they break and i start laughing .....
Yea, apple ipods are way overpriced. When ever would you use up all your 40gigs? probably never, unless you have a 40 gig drive already filled up with music... I bought myself a Creative Zen Micro 5gb MP3 player a week ago, and it's awesome. It's battery has a 12-hour life after just 3 hours of charging, and I actually tested it running for 12 hours, It lasted actually 13 1/2 hours. It came with a power cord, hard cover, belt clip, a stand, a pouch, headphones (I just use my street styled ones...), and a usb cable. I'm only using up 1gb of my 5gb capacity... have over 10 cd's on it...
Uh, I've had my ipod for almost a year now and no problems. I listen to it alot, and also it's fallen a few times. No no, not on the coffee table or whatever but on the concrete. Just chipped it, no other problems. You shouldnt tell people to boycott it for something that happened to you, it might not happen to everyone else. I mean I'm happy with the ipod, no problems at all. Fits in my pocket, holds enough songs for me.
omg do people read? i clearly stated this also happened to a few other people i know. don't you realize that they have this site http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod/ because so many ipod owners' ipod battery loses its ability to hold power would you buy a product that is known to stop working after a year?
that's the same talk of the battery In the Zen Micro. I havent had any problems yet... maybe ppl are just reckless.. my old Rio mp3 player had 32mb and a card reader in it, but after i dropped it, the top button wont work... it still plays, but 32mb is a little too small these days,. edit: of course I got that 32mb player a few years ago for free from my uncle. He had bought Windows XP, and at that store, it had a bonus bundle with it, it included a router, the mp3 player, and a few other things for free. So he gave the player to me, since he had no use for it.

[/b][/quote] Same as Slurpee, my iPod has been working fine since the day I got it. It holds my songs and does the job it's supposed to.
people posting that theirs work fine are really missing the point. just because not all ipods don't work doesn't excuse apple for making a low quality product
