Don't Buy Ipods

i highly recommend to anyone out there looking at buying a portable mp3 player to NOT buy anything by apple.

the quality is simply awful.

my ipod mini is now broken, for reasons unknown.

it's one month out of warranty, and it won't turn on, at all. i've followed all troubleshooting guides and i'll have to pay 60 dollars to get it repaired.

apparently apple has an ipod service website, with lots of information, because they are so experienced at fixing broken ipods.

i wouldn't make such a big fuss about it except i know two other people who had to send theirs in to be serviced.

they're so cheaply made it's pathetic... even setting them down too hard will crack the screen and chip the cheap metal they are covered with.

as i've stated many times before, the apple company is form over function at its finest. they market pieces of ---- with snazzy commercials, bright colors, and sleek looking devices, but the quality just isn't there.

 

i have all mac/apple

espcially ipod there so over-rated there are cheaper- better qulity mp3 players

 

I have an Ipod I really like it but you are right they are over-rated, the only thing I really hate about it is the battery, it ----s up all the time.

 

i hate the way you cant add songs from other pcs without screwing around with playlists and stuff .

I have a mac, and an ibook, i love em. Although i only own an ipod shuffle...

 

I'm fine with my CD Player, lmao.

everyone in my family has a ipod.but my mom and thats 4 people..
and they all work %100 fine..

u just got bad luck...

if you weren't such a dumbass, you could read and i said that this also happened to two of my friends. maybe you just don't know that many people and so you don't have a broad enough view to express a valid opinion.

and don't tell me i don't take care of my stuff. the only time i ever used my ipod was on airplanes and other long trips. otherwise, it had the headphones i used wrapped around the ipod and they were put safely in my drawer.

btw, the headphones that i used were not the ones they supply. the ear buds that they came with, one of the speakers was popped and it cracked on any low note.

there really is no arguing the fact that apple is a very low quality brand.

 

i dont know man.. maybe u and ur firneds are getting bad luck..everyone i know has a pod..and nothing happens..
