Dont Agree With Sotw Judging? Post Here

The the recent Tekken SOTW. The rules said the your name had to be in the sig, and it had to be the main text and not some small pixel font shoved somewhere... Well

His name ont he sig is barely noticable, and I highly doubt its the "main text"



again, we hav the same problem, the text isn't really visible and the other text is bigger than it.

As for Valo... Well I didn;t like it at all, the background and colour did NOT suit Jin. The brushing was jst blotted on, with some sparkle brushes. He didn't really blend Jin at all, and the little design he had wasn't too attractive either. Only good thing was his text.

I suggest you have more judges which are open minded no offense, but I'm seing the same people winning again and again for really eaze designs tht don't require much talent.

 

Well, i only have one question are the judges looking for skill in a sig? or the appeal of a sig? because there is much difference

 

i like the first one ...... but anyways both are awesome

 

Some people just don't understand how hard it is to judge 130-150 votes a week! Jesus!

 

Yes I know it is hard, but thats another reason why we need more judges and also fairer judging. If the rules were held, aaround 30% of the entries would be disqualified, I know it sounds harsh, but if you wanna enter SOTW you have to stick by the rules, however if you let people that don't meet the requirements keep on winning then you'll keep on getting more complaints >_<

 

I may as well post since I have been brought up in this topic...

We may not agree with the SOTW judging...
I mean for the past 2 havent been poorly judged the ones before have. This is probaly a sign that it is becoming better and that it should be consistent from now.

I personally liked my sig, and a few people did...and a lot of people liked other sigs. In most cases it will come down to personal preference but in something like SOTW...

Isnt the skill involved more important? We need to know what we are being judged on so we can aim for it. Is it skill or the judges personal preference?

PS : Im just waiting till I remember "Broken"'s password ^_^

 

is there any chance there can be a SOTW of messing one's face up??

Well, I think that this thread is kinda pointless, I mean, the mods and admins do a great job, they wont say a sig that has just text win.
