Do you want it to be like an upload site only, and not have any other links like forums, news and stuff or what?
The only way it looks similar is that is has the upload area, like it should for an image hosting site. I made it similar to the portfolio template I made a while ago, didn't look at anything else other than to get the browse button.
Thats a good entriee, but im not a fan of that banner or hwat ever u wanna call it, the blue thing, and can u jsut get rid of random tips?
I was obviously exaggerating about how similar the two templates were. The color is definately not the only difference between the two. On the other hand, when I saw your entry, my first thought was exoload.com. Why? Maybe it is because they share an "upload area?" C'mon, don't get smart on me. It is because of the dark grey gradients, the links tightly packed in the right hand corner, the stylized upload buttons, and the stylized header text in both templates. Nevertheless, I will give you the benefit of the doubt about your source of inspiration. I also realize that it is not your fault that your template looks so familiar to me. A current trend in web design just so happens to concern image uploading websites and that certain type of text styling in both templates' headers (I am referring to this). Just be aware that even if the template is inspired by your own past work, it just doesn't seem "unique" to me anymore. Maybe you aren't aware of that certain trend. Maybe you don't care enough to stray away from that trend only to gain 1000 credits, or maybe its that you plain don't care about creating unique templates. I'm thinking that it is the second possibility. *Take note that I am not trying to be sarcastic or disrespectful. I respect your abilities as a web designer, and I apologize if you take any offense from any of my comments. Maybe not in this "Template Contest." However, you must be aware of the ever increasing amount of competition in the image uploading "market." If you want to have at least a bit of leverage over the other image uploading companies, you should at least have a unique, user-friendly, design, without any complicated bulls---.
