Really Kingston is that bad? Hmmm hard to beleive, i wonder why our best selling RAM is Kingston and Crucial.....wierd...
because noobs dont know what ram to buy. Ask around on amd forums, anandtech, whirlpool and people will tell you exactly what I told you.
Strange, type in google these words "Best RAM Company" Seems like Kingston and Corsair are coming up a lot, i havnt even seen anyone say the words Mushkin Redline...Hmmm.. Also type in "Bext Overclocking RAM" seems that Corsair wins that one.
Umm, you stated in ur post that you said that Mushkin Redline is the best overclocking ram out there, and told me that Kingston was the ----s.
yeah I know. why restate that. anyways im not going to argue any more as we have spammed this guys thread.
Yes, i figured you would stop sooner or later, because you have realized i am right that Kingston and Corsair are the best RAM companies out there.
This debate in here is in of a matter of taste. It's quite lame to discuss taste. Anyways - I had better experiences with NoName ram than with Kingston ram wich i paid good money for - and didnt work like they should in my board - crashed my rig. I bought some cheap-ass ram's - and I'm running better than before.. Anyways - I think none of ya'll have tried all the brandings - so stop saying which is best. Each company comes up with something new & better every week. - Word out!
Kingston makes decent economy ram, as in ram made for low end, almost enver to be overclocked computers. It's not necessarily bad, it just isn't that good. Just from looked through a few reviews in my friends comp magazine a while and that was pretty much confirmed. As for why that popped up in google, you have to consider how common it is, and how google does it's searches. if the word good is included 10 times in an article describing various articles describing a variety of items and 20 articles say "item X" sucks, then google will register good and item X as showing up frequently. try putting quotes around the search phrase next time... http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&...=utf-8&oe=utf-8
Ok from what I have read in an Aussie tech mag called Atomic (I'm Australian) the highest ranking DDR low latenncy RAM was the OCZ PC4000 EB PLATINUM RAM which costs about 535$ AUS from what the mag says this set of RAM (I think 1GB sticks) are insanely and for DDR 2 a set of Geil PC2-53000 Ultra which comes in at about 669$ AUS
mushkin and corsair are the only two ram brands i buy, both are excellent quality and very overclockable, i trust mushkin a bit more tho. and to korsy kingston is ----. lots of other name brands overclock better and perform better then kingston.
