What am looking for is pretty simple , all i need is a program that allows me to take parts of a video on a dvd inserted into my pc and put them in the timeline.
Mose DVDs are protected, but you could try to record the DVD using a screen recorder, although you will lose quality.
Adobe Premiere --- or Adobe Premiere Elements will let you do that. if your burning a DVD and it needs to convert the file type it will take alot longer to o so, but afte its converted nd your making multiple copies it goes faster. Its kind of pricy and only one has a free trial and htey are not hte most user friendly but what you can do is look around for other programs that ould be more user friendly
Windows Movie Maker if you just want to put them into a time line with basic effects (optional) then WMM is easy as its already installed you could start straight away lol
