I've gotten alot better and I'm typing with 10 fingers right now!

Still hitting a few keys with the wrong finger (P Y N M just to name a few) but yeah...

    EDIT - 9/13/06, months later. 78 WPM with 2 errors :P

10 fingers, i hated my ----ing computer teacher.
he made us do some typing program everyday.. for the whole period.
but it helped.. it was damn boring though.

Ever since my 5th grade teacher would force us to type correctly, I've been an expert since.

If you looked at they keyboard or used two fingers and "hunt and pecked", he would make you go in front of the class and make you act like a chicken. :P

Type a 10000 word story non stop and your typing would be like a pro, i've been typing for years and i don't like to use my thumbs so i use 8 fingers.

    edit*
actually 9, 1 thumb at spacebar

    *EXERCISE*
    Open notepad
    Close your eyes
    Say an alphabet
Press the button you think it is

    If wrong, memorize,
If correct, try again next time untill you fully memorize

Most of my left hand does the typing. I never use my ring finger, left thumb is used for space bar, both middle/index fingers do most of the typing too.
