I've seen his street magic, some of the stuff is pretty cool. The most publisized stuff are his crazy stunts.

He's an attention whore. Nothing more. His stunts can be good but he just does it for the publicity. Why come to London to be put in a box? Why the ---- not stay over there in America. We didn't want that faggot, but he decided to come over anyway. His street magic is cool, but his big stunts are just ----ed up. Who wants to stand on a pole for what was it 2days? Who keeps them self in ice for a week? Who keeps themself in a box for 40days and 40nights with no food? Who lives in a bubble for 1week?

Masochism is a mental disease that can be trained into the body to get pleasure from pain to oneself, either from themselves or from others. masochism can also be a side effect of cutting and other forms of self mutilation as it truly does make the person feel good. It can give them a high, or a sexual feeling.

If anything he is a very minor one. If you would like to see true pictures of severe masochism, you can ask me and I will send you a few pictures. Pictures of people who have lost all sense of capability to use their arm because they cut too deep into themselves with knives because it truly felt that good to themselves. People who pierce themselvesn and hang from their ceilings on their piercings (normally in erm... discreet places... so to speak).

I was personally a minor masochist in that I didnt go out of my way to hurt myself (I did a couple of times, but that was attempted suicide, not purposeful self mutilation with the attempt to stay alive), but I do simulate sensation from pain. I break a bone, I tear a ligament, I tear a muscle, w/e and I get up smiling as if nothing was wrong (assuming im still capable, I tore my ACL in a football accident and couldnt stand after that, but I was still smiling).

David Blaine is not a great magician. He is one, but hes not great. There are far greater true magicians who believe magic is an art and keep it that way rather than believing in magic to keep themselves safe (such as the ice, which is nothing compared to this one show of guiness world records where someone lowered their body temperate as much as they could, which was believed to be humanly impossible, while being in a constantly chilled controlled climate that gradually dropped temperate over time, starting at 32 degrees farenheit).

ive seen his 3 hour shows of street magic in tons of places, he does stage magic too, not as often.
Was hoodini a magician? yes.
is david blaine a magician? yes.

I personally think hes an idiot I admit what he does is crazy but cool. But if you can't pull it off, don't bother attempting and wasting people's time.

 

he is a magician and a pretty good one to be honest, if you see his shows hes done this trick where he takes a ring from someone and drops it down a drain then puts his arm though a shop window and gets it back
