That's what I believe. I personally believe that God (and for everybody else, your respective god/spirit/being) created the universe, but not as we see it today. I full heartedly believe that the earth HAS evolved quite a bit from it's original form. Science and the Bible both support this idea, therefore, I find this to be what I believe.

i am really sorry for doing this but:- who do you think created the earth? the planets? the sky?the stars?the unvierse? is it god? where did god come from?who created THIS , where did this come from? like the post in the first page , try to think of nothing , even if you think of nothing , where did that nothing come from? there has to be a creator of anything , and where did that creator come from? so many theories on how the earth was created , they say two pieces of planets bumped in to each other (the sceintists) well where did these planets come from? they will say they are created from "blah blah blah blah blah blah" , but where did these things come from in the first place???

Good and Evil are just words. To one person Good might be killing somebody. To another it may be evil. To somebody it would be good to kill a sick dying worm. To another it would be evil. To a christian believing in God would be good. An Athiest not believing in Heaven Nor Hell would be considered good to them. But evil to one another. To one person it may be considered evil for one to spend their life eating chips all day on the couch and being lazy, to him/her who is commiting thy act they may find it good and what they should do. Good and evil are states of mind that are developed as time goes. Good and Evil are words that when used means opinion, no exception.
2 points. 1.) Why NOT be a christian? What have you got to lose? It's also quite nice when you think about it, treat others as you would like to be treated and such stuff like good virtues. 2.) In reference to how the earth was made. You can lay a cake mix out in the sun, and it rains over night, and the next day when you go to it, there isn't going to be a cake there. You have to have someone to mix it. Someone caused the creation of the earth, it wasn't just a massive coincidence. That person, or something, was god.
ok i dont belevie in heaven or hell im a pagan i beleive that when we die we have no feelings its just black no thoughts no nothing while our bodies are burned or eaten by maggots while they decompose the whole concept of god is to farfetched for me. i beleive that relegion is for the weak and insecure who cannot beleive in themselves
I'm no religious man, in fact, I'm athiest. When I die, I will go were ever the hell I feel like it. Or I will just be reborn again. Heaven or hell, yeah right. Hell is for the people I dislike, and that it. Heaven is where ever I want to go.
Jamesio, your not an atheist if you believe that there is some form of life after death, and believe in heaven and hell.... In my case, i dont really care. I dont believe in God, or any spirit, or any religion. I dont believe in Heaven and Hell. Instead, i believe in instincts, and right and wrong. I believe that after you die, you simple just arent. You don't think, you dont move, you dont anything. Your life and thoughts and feelings are gone. I dont believe in being re-born. Its not like you die and automatically are reborn because you couldnt feel the time after your death. You just ARENT. it is really hard to try and comprehend not being able to think, or exist, or anything. But thats what i believe, and im sticking to it. I believe in right and wrong, but im not just a bad person because i dont believe in going anywhere or being punished after death. Im not bad because i dont want to waste my one and only life in prison, just to die and not exist anymore. For me, i just have to live my life to its fullest, because its all i get. I dont understand how people follow religion, they believe that this "Spirit" made the universe, and the earth, and humans, so that we could go to earth and be tested, so that we could meet him again? why not just let us stay with him, whats the point of being tested? If having a body is only something you could do on earth, doesnt that mean when you get back there it will be nothing like having a body? you wont be able to move or think? you just dont have any options, how does that make sense? I think people only believe in religion because they want the satisfaction of thinking they can continue after death, and not wanting to accept that they will be nothing. so where did that nothing come from? you say after you die all you see is black , who made this black? things didint just appear , there has to be something that created them , i am a muslim and yes i do belive in hell and heaven , i would explain it all to you but it would take ages , just look at it this way , if you see footsteps in the desert , doesnt that tell you that there was something passing from here? well when you see all of these seas , the stars , the planets , the mountains , the creatures, the trees , the humans, doesnt that atleast tell you that theres a creator of all of this?.... god - الله
I believe in the Big Bang theory, and every element, including carbon was created thoughout the ages. and we all know that we are made of carbon. so basically we are created by energy. Pure Energy to be exact. you could call Pure Energy "God" if you wanted to... but then he would still just be a force of nature, and not a spirit.
