Dnas Help

    i can go "online" with my ps2
    but then it tests with the DNAS crap and it turns red and says

    "Network error (-612)

    therer was no response from the DNS server. please check your net. config.

    and then the copyright crap

    Did you test your network connection? I got that same error before and had to delete, then remake a new network connection. Try that and see if it helps.

    i tested it worked but sdidnt work when i REALY tried to connect

    Hmm... Do you know anything about network stuff? That happened to me once and I just re-did my entire setup useing the custom set up and that solved the problem for me. Don't ask me for help though, it's been so long since I did it I can't remeber how.

    For setting stuff like a static IP I think /about in your command menu brings up all stuff like that.

    I THINK its /about but I highly doubt it.

    A DNAS error shouldn't have anything to do with your network/connection. It would have to do with the disc you are using, is your Playstation modded? Are you using a backup copy of a disc? This would be why you are unable to get online due to copyright issues.

    If you are using a legal copy of the disc? If so, it could be your Playstation.

    Othewise, I'm not sure. :huh:
