    Rules / Guidelines

    - Work MUST be original.

    - Work found to be stolen (in part or in whole) will be withdrawn from the competition.

    - Payment will be made through paypal ONLY. If you do not have a paypal account. Get one. http://www.paypal.com

    - All entries MUST be submitted by the due date (July, 4 2006).

    Late entries will not be accepted without proper authoriztion.

    - The winner will recieve free advertising, and the opportunity to have their artwork showcased here at DG.

    "Optional" does not mean that you must accept the prize. You may choose to accept none, or all of the "optional" prizes.

    The winner will also recieve shout-outs and a premium Link.

    In exchange for the prizes you agree that DNAGAMER.COM will be the sole owner to this symbol. You agree that we will hold all rights to it. You also agree that any attempts to resell or redistribute this image are a breach of contract. After claiming this symbol DNAGAMER.COM will immediately Hold all rights to it. The Symbol will fall under the DNAGAMER.COM copyright, which umbrellas all content, images and designs displayed by DNAGAMER.COM. This copyright does not extend to users of DNAGAMER.COM, it does not protect users content, nor does it hold DNAGAMER.COM responsible for the actions of its(DNAGAMER.COM) guests. In the event that a winner is not able to be chosen, the contest will be extended to allow modifications, re-design's, and re-entries to be made.

    I am the lead administrator of DNA Gamer. We paid extra to get the creds. This is a freestyle logo contest. You may look at the site, I suggest you do.

    Sorry about that didnt know the rules when I started that one.

    Shaggy if you want to merge the topics that would be great.

    This contest has nothing to do with Ultimate Source Gaming. Please do not design Ultimate Source Gaming Logos

    We are looking for an image. a symbol as well as the text. The idea is to match the current theme of http://www.dnagamer.com.

    Use special affects, flash.. whatever you wish. The nicer the image the better your chances.

    You are able to enter as many designs as you wish.

    The penalties for ripping are pretty harsh, I already fired a staff member because he was ripping. (I would like to thank Dragon for pointing this out to my staff.) However if you are caught ripping in this contest its going to be reported back to GR. as well as numerous other graphic communities. Not to mention all of your entries will be blacklisted from all of the contests i begin.

    Guys this is costing me a pretty penny. I would really like to see something nice come from this so that I know that I can come back to this community the next time I do a logo contest, and expect quality. I have around 65 domains to do. Plus I get tired of domains looking the same for too long. Do the math. Big bucks for someone who takes it seriously. What I am getting at is that when I feel DNA is going well I will move on and let my staff handle the daily functioning. Which means that I will be right back here at GR setting up a new logo contest. I may even set up a template contest. Figure 100 bucks on that if this goes well, and I am satisfied with the results.

    I believe cash is a pretty universal language... now who wants mine.

    Paying my staff for the overtime
    Paying the winner of the contest
    Paying for advertisement here at GR
    Paying for an account upgrade for the winner if they are from GR
    Possibly paying the runner up for their design if it is a close race.

    I know it is hard to do a contest where you have nothing to go on, but you guys are artists. Look at the domain... Listen to the name.

    but technically its stands for

    Dynamic Network Advertising (and its for Gamers)

    Try your best to integrate your designs and it will make a huge difference. I asked that all designs be mailed to [email protected] because I do not want these designs ripped before the contest is even over. If you are forced to display them in the forums please display a watermarked version.
