its so close between 2 entrees I'm having to do this with points system.
voting nearly completed, need at least 1 more staff to vote.

 

Even though im not part of the staff.... can you include my vote?

I want to get this out of the way so I can make my sig for the next SOTW.. whatever the theme for that may be....

 

I'm sure it's close between Vodka and Alias, if it isn't.. then you need to have a Judge staff, because they hav eno clue what they're fucking doing if it isn't.

This place's SotW is totally fucked up - They need some actual fucking judges instead of what they have now.

 

Hopefully we get the winner by tonight, I thought this was one of the best sigs I have made.

well i think the judges, let there own tast interfeer with the judging, but even a very good sig can be found bad if it isnt your taste ore a bad sig good if it is your taste

 

Not the best idea, users may tend to have a bias towards people. Which means more unfair judging. This idea of judging is good, but the judgers could be improved. Was close between me and Alias tho :lol:

 

Congrats though Vodka, Alias yours was good but Vodka was the winner in my book.

is not like we can judge on specific number, can we?
its not a speed contest, so we cant judge on who's fastest.
its not a power contest, so we cant judge on who can lift the most.
its not a high jumping contest, so we cant judge on who jumps the highest
its not a miniaturising contest, so we cant judge on who makes the smallest

why do people like Picasso? its as weird as it gets. lines and colors all over the place.
I like impressionalists, but some say those are "blurry" paintings, not very realistic. they prefer Rubens, because its so realistic.
Why do peeps like Andy Warholl graphics, they are so plain.

Its what we like best. And the judges have different tastes, which is good. Would be stupid if we all like purple, all like grunge, all like animation or we all vote for the sig with the most skin and biggest tits (i've seen that on other forum).

member vote is THE WORST way of voting, very bigoted. not to mention multiple accounts.

and as for "other" judges, like who? peeps that like what YOU make...
sure, so that would mean the other 42 are gonna bitch and whine.
or perhaps have only the contestants vote? each sig get 1 vote... then what

I've been on the other side when entering the SOTW, sometimes I also didnt agree with the SOTW results.
So i no longer entered and now am on the other side judging and managing SOTW.
trust me, this takes a lot of effort and a lot of time.

well sorry if i offended anyone wasnt my intention of the post

wanted to make clear it is about taste.
and there is no accounting for taste.

its not coz someone used incredible techniques on a sig that it will win.
its what appeals most and looks best in THE JUDGES EYES.
if two sigs have the same level of appeal, then we look deeper.
