Use alienware to get a pc and you'd have plenty left for the ps3. Unless you're not looking for a pc thats for gaming then this topic would be useless.
Get a good comp and save a little bit for the Wii And don't get a dell or a god damn alienware, build one yourself, you can easily save 400 usd.
I guess i'd have to say, buy the Computer..Because the PS3 will lead to you wanting to buy games, and the overall cost will just rise and rise. That's just my opinnion.
i might just waight for ps3 till next year since the game that i really want for ps3 is smackdownvsraw 2k8 which comes out somewhere areound next summer so i am going to get a computer from ibp for 2k with alot of things Zain
If you really like both, then get both. I'm sure there are some nice guys in GR's comp section who will help you building your own, which is a hell of alot cheaper then buying a premade.
he'd have like -1500$ left if he got a decent PC form alienware ----tiest advice ever, who the ---- wants a dell witha pretty case?
Ok I just want someone to know stop me like I dot want to spam here but get this over with Xelink or anyone please find me a nice computer please  I beg you all which is around 2k or less (better if less) but with core 2duo and anice graphix card i dont care where it is from just posttsome and if i like it i will see what to do thanks Zain
http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=119 go to the e6600 on the CPU case w/e you feal like. thermal take armor jr. is a good cae in terms of airflow and features but most of anything woudl suffice. power supply Enermax EG565P 535 the one included with the cases suck gnarly balls this one is decent for the cost. motherboard, spend the extra 24$ to get the ASUS SLI board doesn't seem problematic really and if it's not BIOS disabled(which you could fix) you shoudl eb able to get a 10-15% overclock on the board. also runs RAM at 1T(best option without overspending) don'y bother matching the drive colors 9$ is bullshid, jsut take a sharpee an make them match yourself if needed. 2GB RAM type doesn't matter too much if you want go for the XS for 44$ more it used good high quality micron d9 ICs and could be run pretty high if you ever want to overclock(other stuff is fine though and you won't notice too much a diference in real world performance) 8800GTS on the GFX card. more ro less the best card for what you'de want, compatability with DX10 games and outperformas every card but th 8800GTX(which si a bit of a rip off) 8800GTS Harddrive, w/e you feal you'de need. if you want get two drives of the same size and put them in RAID 0 for increased drie performance. Operating system MS Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition w/ Free Upgrade Coupon for Windows Vista™ Home Premium for the rest pretty much jsut leave it on the defaults should leaeve you with a system capable of maxing everything for the record the PC would be about twice as pweorful as the ps3(PS3 has graphics slightly weaker than a 7800GTX which is starting to show its age)
uum...that is good but is there a way that you can do something for the laptop cuz i am not into desktops atm only a laptop bro thanks Chris Zain
laptops in my opinion are not meant for gaming(highend parts drain power fast so you get shid battery life plus there are overheating risks - you can't run a fan in a laptop) and there are no DX10 cards for them at this time meaning they won't be palying any of the new games out ina year because they won't be able to run them. Then there is the price premium for only half the power... PC- http://de.cornblogs.com/crysis/photos/Kefa...ZolaBeachII.jpg http://www.ps3land.com/previews/Crysis/cry..._big%5B1%5D.jpg PS3- http://ps3.pspfreak.de/wp-content/call_of_duty.jpg just to compare ps3 and PC graphics http://www.ps3-generation.com/upload/Galle...116295871-1.jpg PS3 isn't much better than an xbox 360, it's graphics are only last gen. here's a a laptop(don't knwo nearly so much abotu pricing or bang/$ on these) http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=188 up to 1GB of RAM and you're set.
HM...none of the laptops at ibp have any good graphic cards i found this one http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configu...?mid=201#header but i dunno came up to 2k [New !!!] Intel® Core 2 Duo Mobile T7200 Dual-Core Processor (2x 2.0GHz/4MB Cache/667FSB) 2048MB(1024MB X2) DDR2-667 PC5300 [Notebook Memory] Major Brand More Options Nvidia GE Force 7400 128mb 80 GB 7200rpm Serial-ATA-150 Super Slim Notebook Hard Drive that is all is that good ro bad?
GeForce GO 7600 is better the the 7400. and comapred to an 8800 a 7600 is crap. 8800 GTS is comapreabel to running 5 7600s
