Directx 9.0

Hey


Alot of times when i try to download DirectX 9.0 it's about to finish installing then it says Installed Failed.


Any suggestions?

 

format, reinstall windows, download again if $works = 0 go buy a new pc

 

i dont have money right now and im sure my dad doesnt want to pay.

And reintall windows well i dont got the cd no more

 

type run -> "DxDiag" w/o quotes and get some ScreenShots of info. also exactally what does it say

 

Yep try running DxDiag and print screen the first page or your comp already has it

 

wouldnt that be a download problem, not a DX problem?

try getting DX from the net again, see if the new installation helps...

 

Here the system...(and yeah its a download program) I downloaded it from Microsoft and download.com


And what does it say well here


I click Install then the install bar is almost done then it goes FAILED.

 

It is a hardware/software conflict, Some of your hardware components are not compatible with Direct X 9.0A,B,C check your direct x compatibility on your hardware.

 

it wont install because dx9 wont work with voodoos

 

i told him it was a hardware conflict
