Well I used to use an old film camera before my grandpa passed. My grandman wanted me to have his digital camera which I accepted with open arms because it was always something of his I envied and something I enjoyed having around to remember photo times and all the special occasions he took pictures at with that camera.

The latest big project I used the camera for was at the 2006 auto show in NY. Took 169 pictures with 107 left when the battery died.

I'm currently still using that camera and its an Olympus Camedia C-700 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera with 10x Optical zoom.

Although I wouldn't mind upgrading toa Digital SLR but thats pushing my luck :P

I believe the name is Olympas. Spelling?

Well, that's the one I have and it's done me quite nicely. I would suggest that to anyone.

Optical zoom is the camera physicaly zooming in the lense.

digital zoom is the zoom that just zooms in usaing the screen, not actually moving the lense, the higher the digital zoom you go the lower the quality.

Usually when you zoom digitally you lose quality, it also depends on the quality of the camera, because you'll end up with a lot of noise in the resulting picture.

I bought a camera a few weeks ago

Got no idea what I can take pictures of though
