Sorry if anyone gets annoyed by the double tut, this is a different way of making rain that comes up a bit different.(first tut, be nice) 1. Make a new image with a transparent background 2. Paste in whatever background you want to lay the rain over 3. Create a new layer 4. Fill the layer with black 5. Make your forground color black and you background color white 6. Filter>Sketch>Graphic Pen 7. Set the "Stroke Length" to 15 and the "Light/Dark Balance" to how thick you want the rain, looks best if you keep it between 9 and 13 8. Use the magic wand and click on an area that is white 9. Delete this area 10. Deselect 11. Hit Ctrl+U to bring up the Hue/Saturation 12. Set the lightness to somewhere around 50 13. Repeat steps 3-12 for as many frames as you want 14. File>Edit in ImageReady 15. Create the same amount of frames as the new layers you made 16. On Frame 1 make the first rain layer the only one visible, same on 2 ... 17. Set the delay on each frame to .1 sec 18. Finished result:
