hmm i think a lotta ppl struggle with teh question of what really is the difference between a gf/bf and best friend? what do you guys think?
There... Plus, gf... spend more money on her I guess... and umm.. hmm.. dont mind losing her so much in the long run? at least for some people, and at some ages, and varies per relationship... but losing best friends sucks more probly.
If a person doesn't know the difference I don't think their ready for a realationship yet. Anyways an obvious difference is kissing I don't think you kiss your best friend
sexual acts *wink* but seriously. 2 of my best friends are girls (NO IM NOT GAY!) and one of them (others a cousin) could go out with me... but its pointless. as I said the only difference are the acts of love. (haha cliche'd but its true)
What everyone else said (sexual acts), and I think if your in a true relationship you feel more love for them and spend more time with them.
I totally agree to that. I love my bestfriend too though. ^_^ But my husband is a combination of love and lust. Sexual acts? you can have sex with your bestfriend if you two chose to though...
only if ur a guy n ur best friend is a girl THEN or if a girl and a girl are best friends dey can do it 2 but if a guy n a guy r best friends n want to do it then JUST NO *barf O.O
i think the difference between best friend and girl friend is the level of commitment. sure the sex is an issue, but i've had sex with my best female friends. but there is a way deeper level of commitment with my wife than my best friend.
Sex is different for casual sexual acts such as kissing. I dont think you kiss your best friend nearly as much as a girlfriend.
Exactly, a best friend would tell you about his/her last night with his/her boyfriend/girlfriend. But a GF/BF would talk about their last night with you. Sexual act plays a very important role in this question.
