I just recently joined Deviantart, and have some questions on how to do things please. 1- I notice on most sites, it says friends, and clubs. How do you put a clubs section on your profile? 2- I made a chibi art in PSCSII. It said that it was too big to host. How can I resize the image. 3-I notice people have smilies in their journals. When I type in the journal, there are no icons how can I have icons? thanks
1 - dno 2 - Open it in PhotoShop, go to Image > Image Size and resize it. 3 - the deviant art smilies are different then most other sites, :jackdirt: :#1: and such, look for the link saying "Smilie Legend" or something like that.
2) you have to have a subscription / bought account to have the friends list on your page .. if you have a ~ you are just a member but if ya got a * or = you are a paid member or beta tester (which are paid accounts) 3) same as above i think
1. You can only have a friends section if you have a subscription. And clubs are just avatars. You can post an avatar in your Journal by typing this: :iconNAMEHERE: Where I wrote 'name here' you need to put a name of a deviantart person. Such as :iconnicasus: 2. In Photoshop you can resize it by altering size. 3. Some people has smily's as their avatar and they just type someone's name like this: :iconnicasus: And you can use standard smily's you use in posts also in Journals.
