well i was gonna ask if you had win 2000 but i figured you didnt but for people with win 2000, they dont make any options to change the transparency bg on and off and i had 2000 for a long time and found a program that youd make a startup and it would remove the 'shadow' at startup... i think i still have it if anyone wants it.
