I have family in europe that are Danish, and some that live in turkey that are muslim. I'm not really sure as to each's reaction on the subject. I can see the muslim point of view not to display him out of respect. I think that equates to some sort of heresy, I could be wrong. I also know that islam isn't a bad religion or anything, its just a group of people that twist the religion to pass their actions off as righteous and just. The Danish people are also sorry for what they did and i don't think that they intended any harm by it. The whole thing sounds like a big misunderstanding that got blown out of proportion. :\

 

I live and is born in Denmark FYI.

And just because a newspaper did that ----. It doesn't mean the danish people agree with what they did.

A person like me, have NOTHING to do with those cartoons, and I think the cartoons shouldn't have been in the newspaper. And you think I disrespect everyone? Well nice attitude you got there!

 

Feels like many people just make very political topics on this site that is meant to be a gfx community. And I feel that the persons posting theese topics have a hidden agenda then just discussing politics, and that is if they write a political topic it will get many replys and therefore you could make many post yourself and by that increase our credits ant posts...


I fell that we should stick to gfx in here and debate politics in a different forum. Since I dont want there to be any "e"fighting...


But considering this topic I say post as many comics they want freedom of press and speach weigh alot heavier then "some" muslims interpretation of the koran...

And saying that noone is making fun of the other religions is bull----, there have been more ridicule of Christianity then of Islam. The musslims getting offend or any religious gruop getting offended trying to take away our freedom should STFU ( they can speak, I didnt mean to censor them, but threating people and burning flags is just ridiculus)!

Personally I think religion is dumb, dont get me negative rep cuz Im using my right of freedom of speach and telling what I think not what you should think as many of theese religous groups want to.

And I think USA was cowards not defending the danish people when they claim to be the number one democracy... do not give me negative rep just cuz I critizise America, cuz that is what freedom of speach is, to have the right to speak your opinion without someone censoring me or stuff like that.

so many muslims kill others and in the news all you see is pictures of muslims throwing things at soldiers and such.. when someone mentions muslim thats what i think right away

thats cuz the people who run everything, only want you to see that, becuz thats waht they believe.

Freedom of press belongs to those who own the press.

They will only publish what they believe.

This just makes more people out there think like them, and create people like you.

I draw cartoons of the prophet Muhammed all the time and show them to people who follow him in my school all the time, they don't care.

 

it's kinda a sin to draw His pictures. they should care. maybe not go rioting but something more peaceful.

I never said all muslims terrorism. I think it's only a very small part who might not even be real muslims. But I don't see a reason for threaten danish people. I think it's fair they riot against our primeminister for his ignorant attitude, and the newspaper. But threat all Denmark isn't necesary IMO. And boycot danish things so a company lost 400 millon Dkkr? Why make a milkcompany suffer because some retarded newspaper don't know when to not post stuff like that.

yes we have right to riot. But we are going about it the wrong way, and its rioting like that, than make these retards act all ignorant and narrow minded. Its a 2 way street. They are dumb and ignorant, but doing things like this isn't helping change that.
