Denmark Cartoons

What do you think about the cartoons that were posted in the Dannish newspaper? I used search feature but couldnt find any thread so...

I found the cartoons very offensive... F*** Freedom of speech/choice etc. it is called respect for another human's beliefs... let me giv an example... im in grade 8, and at my school we have a no peanut product policy, even though only 1 person out of the 400 students is allergic to peanuts. If it was about freedom of choice, then anyone could bring peanuts and no1 wud giv a f*** about the alergic guy. but we dont, why? cuz we respect the 1 person, and we know it will harm him
so wen there are 1.5 billion muslims in the world, and you are offending all of them, then i dont know how much respect you have for other human beings. IMO dannish ppl have no respect for any1 else whatsoever...

 

People are dumb with their freedom of speech of mumbo jumbo. They dont seem to realize their are lines you cannot cross.

Just because a random person, says you can say whatever you want, doesn't mean you can. Use your judgement.

But wait isnt their rules that opposte total freedom of speech. O wait, yes there is. Some people seem completely oblivious to this. You can't say anything that puts down gender, age, race, culture, religion, and so on.

It basically portrays Prophet Mohammed, a messanger of Allah's message, as a terrorist. And basically saying that all muslims are terrorists.

But we must also think what Prophet Mohammed would think. He is very forgiving, and surely would forgive the jounralists. He would make us change these narrow minded fools mind, and portray a positive view of Islam.

Its a rhetorical question. The comic is saying all muslims are terrorists.

Surely you cant be saying all muslims are "terrorizing all of america and the christian world"

I find it funny how the danish portray your peoples as violent, and you all dissagree by buring churches and federal buildings. Nice way to prove your point.

And no, of ocurse i don't think of all muslims this way, just the extremists.

 

I can understand some angrer over the cartoons, but what about the response of protesting and burning embassys. A bit over the top, no?

didnt the danish people do the cartoon cuz people in iran held a holocaust cartoon contest (im not sure if you guys r talking about the same thing) but i think that contest was a little extreme

for me i dont think all muslims r terrorists

 

Freedom of expression should hold more weight.

Even if people get offended, say what you want its only opinion

 

The cartoon had been posted in an Egyptian newspaper way before it was in the Danish newspaper but know muslims said anything about that.

i think u should shut ur ----ing mouth im swedish/american and i was borned in denmark jus because a few danish ppl dont respect muslims that doesnt mean the whole country does thats jus like saying if a few ppl from a country do something racist that means the whole country is racist
