Okay, well I received permission from both Draven and Huy-N after sending a screenshot of my correspondence with the creator of this piece. The original piece can be found here: http://www.cgwallpapers.com/wallpapers.php?id=11 It is the first wallpaper on that page, and when I began the render in May, it was being distributed for free. However, I still contacted the author and received permission on the condition that I place the URL of his website somewhere on the render. I spent a total of 12 hours on this render. The first hour was spent tracking down a contact email for the author and corresponding with him, although it would have been a lot faster if I'd noticed the link to "Artist Website" on cgwallpapers. The second hour was spent rendering the body and a rough outline of the hair. The final ten hours were spent on the hair. I probably did the hair about three times, but it took that many times to get it just right. Also, I lost part of that time when Photoshop froze and I hadn't saved recently. Anyways, after all that talk, here's the render: Mirror 1 | Mirror 2 rep/creds are always appreciated but never expected
Just typing what the artist has said to you in your thread is not proof of permission, please forward sufficient proof of permission to a moderator, until this is received do not rehost
Alright, I've now obtained permission from both Huy-N and Draven to repost this, so it's been reposted. C&C is once again welcome.
