this was just a really quick cut out of vader. prolly done a few thousand times but w/e here it is. FYI i dont know why the light saber is messed up like that. i followed a line along it and i turned white. go figuer.

 

its good but the lightsaber isnt good
dotn know how it can happen
maybe you should put some red back on it

 

How could i put red back into it... if u tell me id be glad to do it. cuz i wanted to use my own render, but the saber sucks hardcore and i dont know why

 

light saber went all hay wire because its white... you have a white BG, the red glow is what gave it the "Apperience" of being red.... should have left in the glow

 

other from the light saber that is a pretty good render

Just a quick suggestion for the lightsaber, maybe if you used a tool and selected just the white part of the lightsaber, and made a new layer of that... you could then use the Hue Saturation control and make it red :-D

I'll see if I can do it myself but good job besides the saber

Nice, I prefer the one with the red glow. When I rendered some lightsabers I used a bit of feathering around the saber to make it keep the glow. Use one layer for the white bit, create a copy and feather the saber in the original picture and delete it and it should keep it. Hope this helps coz it would take me all day explaining it in detail

 

Second attempt looks far better with the saber intact, but the helmet is a little choppy. Still a vg cut though.
