I like it.... But I'm having trouble verbalizing what it is I dislike about it. Maybe the word I'm looking for is it seems kinda hazy? Does that sound correct?

 

It's foggy. That's what you're trying to say I think haha.

I would make it less foggy, more saturated. I like the effects though.

 

mmk i see what u mean, maybe saturate/add more contrast to the middle most area (render) ?

I like v2 personally, but I ain't no ---. Haha. I think the coloring really gives it life though.

Foggy was the word I was searching for lol.

I still say it's a bit to FOGGY around the actual render, but it does indeed look great. Nice work

 

Very nice depth and effects. I think the text would look better if you moved it closer to the focal imo.

Here's what I'd do.
I would burn on a low opacity
all of the render's shadows on his
face. Just until it looked "good".

well i re-assessed the sig and decided that there was one smudge layer that was causing all the foggy issues, i lowered the opac on that and i think the render rly came out, heres v3 (also putting on top)

 

v3 = win
