I read the book. Obviously it's a work of fiction. I don't see it realistically affecting anyone's religion. I'm don't believe in religion, maybe that's why this stuff doesn't bother me. I don't believe in higher powers or Heaven and Hell. My own thought, and this is by no means saying anyone else is wrong, is that religion and the bible were created as a means to control society. However, that said, to each their own. I don't tear down anyone else over their beliefs. I just happen to have my own. Personally I found it an interesting story. It's somewhere along the lines of another book I read that is no longer in print. Most likely due to subject matter of the same sort. Brotherhood of the Tomb by Daniel Easterman. Banning the movie would only cause people to be more curious about it anyway.... so dumb move to do that.
show the movie, theres no sense in banning it, if your faith can be rocked by hollywood then maybe you should spend a little more time studying scripture.
