Not really a review but did anyone here think the actual end result sucked ass. It totally destroyed the book! The ending was slightly different, the locations were different the story was butchered! RON HOWARD RUINED 3 HOURS OF MY LIFE! However i'd like to see some general reactions from someone who saw it without reading the book.
Well, it wasnt very in-depth was all. They splashed some of the facts on you and expected you to entirely understand. I cant believe people said the movie was too factual when the book doubled what this movie gave. As for acting and such, it wasnt that bad, but I think a movie version of the book just wasnt meant to heppen.
I didnt really like the book, (the style in which it was written was too basic). The movie was ok, but then again, I'm a Tom Hanks fan and like everything he's in.
I read the book and the movie is somewhere buried in my folder, but i haven't watched it yet. Will post ay thourhgts after i'll do so.
It was an OK movie, but did you notice how many Sony ads there were?! The old guy (the teacher - Lee is it? [forgotten his name already!]) had a widescreen sony and they zoomed in right into the logo and there was another Sony TV in his house as well as (I think) the cops phone, which was one of the Sony Walkman ones! Anyone else notice that?
Book was decent, movie was boring as hell. it followed the book pretty well, it was just borinig, and the acting sucked. Then again, what can you expect, Haryy Potter is literary genius compared to Dan Brown books.
I read the book and saw the movie and I thought that it actually followed what was in the book pretty well...The main difference was the ending but the only reason they did it that way was because they couldn't add narration and had to change it in order for it to make any sense. The book was still better though.
i actually liked the movie....well i like every movie i see.....but this one was pretty confusing and had alot of facts...my head burst :|
It's not that Tom Hanks sucked, it was that we've seen him do SO much better (ex. Saving Pvt. Ryan) so, I was a little let down by him. But he's still my boy.
