Took approximately an hour. No brushes whatsoever; it was made using smudging, several different blending modes, a few filters, and a bit of creativity. If anyone wants a tut, I might think about it, but it's a bit erratic and variable, so not so sure if it would be very usable. ~Many thanks to Magicman for his kickass render.
