Cut down on GR Page Load Time

    For JPGs, GIFs, and PNGs...

    Make sure you Save for web in Photoshop.

    Sigs and graphics around here are in above the 100kb mark. That's not HUGE, but it adds up. Optimized at about 75 (jpgs)...sigs will drop down below 20kb, dropping page load time.

    That goes for cut-outs (renders) as well.

    I'm sure the admins will also appreciate the space freed up on the server.

    low quality images makes dinges a sad boy :(

    your eyes can't tell the difference. Low/Medium res has nothing to do with quality...if your sig is bad quality...up-resing it isn't going to fix it. :)

    On screen, your eyes can't tell the difference.

    true mine say on default settings tho, ill change them when i get home..
    cos fair dos the load time is rather slow
