Surfing lesson 1 : If you want to surf, jump on the ramp, start from above and steadily slide down, when you want to get some air simple steer your mouse up the ramp until you are at the top, as soon as you are in the air you can move with your mouse .. Easy !
It's easy to learn the basic stuff like the easy maps but it's not something you learn by reading or whatever, it's all about practising your technique and speccing others..
I'ev played surf maps on Counter Strike 1.6 It`s easy, just when you have the speed and then just on the end go to the top and move with your mouse, and then you FLY. If u want i can give u some lessons next week how to surf, i have also Counter Strike: Source. - Gac
I usually stay near the edge of the ramp and then near the end I lean up towards the top then shoot my mouse upwards.
