Meh, I can get CS3, but I don't see the point. I've gotten used to the layout in cs2 lol.

have you seen the layout in CS3? it's almost the same as in CS2. the only real difference in the layout is the Tool Palette is 1 column now instead of 2.......and like i told Renegade, you can switch between the new one and the old one anyway

i like the new layout better actually because in CS2, if you have a large picture open (like a wallpaper or something), the palettes cover the sides of it up so you have to move each pallete just to see the rest of the picture. in CS3 you don't have to worry about that.

if it runs funny on Vista it's probably because of Vista itself, not CS3........NOTHING ran right for me on Vista lol

btw...you can switch between the old and new layouts

yea Im not surprised that it runs better on XP. I really wish they didnt eliminate Imageready and intergrated into PS. The one improvement with CS3 is the ability to import more files into PS CS3 than CS2

I might give it a try today. Only reason I was avoiding it was because I thought the layout would be completely different than cs2.

I think it runs a hell of a lot smoother, if money is not an issue then go for it.
