how the hell do i buy CS:S do i have to buy half life 2 or soemthing like that?? :unsure:

 

yup, if u buy any edition of halflife 2 (bronze/silver/gold, doesnt matter which one) then you get CS: S with it =)

im pretty sure if you buy half life 2 gold it comes with everything. Half life, Half Life Source, Half life 2, CS 1.6, CS:CZ, CS:S.

 

you can go to the steam.net site and get 1.6 or just get it at your local gameing store

then you buy HL2 to get the rest

 

Just buy Half-Life 2. Register with it through steam and you can then click on CS:S and dl it through steam.

 

i got CSS on my HL² DVD, but maybe thats just cause i bought the collectors edition, not sure if u have to d/l it with other versions

 

Nope, you don't, it's automatically on the disk, with STEAM and I believe XFire.

 

to get css but the hl2 game <- ok, tho i think 1.6 is better
to get cs 1.6 buy the hl genarations pack <- highly recomended

 

dam it seems that i wasted some money on CS:CZ i'm going to buy genrations or hl2 gold when my comp is fixed

 

if u get gold edition i get hl2, cs: s, dod source, half-life source but i dont think u get the old skool games (cs 1.6 dod 1.6 etc...)

 

Ya, I bought HL2 but gave away my Steam account to some PMS girl because I never used it. CS1.6 will probably come with HL, save the patching.

 

Yup, CS 1.6 comes with HL 1.

 

if u have a valid hl1 key, u can download cs 1.6 free through steam
