I've searched up and down these forums, can't find it even in FAQ. What exactly is the credit/rep used for?
Rep lets you know how "important" (bad word) you are on the forum. Lets you know you're usually a nice person, or a bad person. If you're rep is in the negative numbers, then you are are either hated or you have done something to piss some people off. Credits let you buy things in the store, earn credits by posting and doing things for other people who have creds. (I.E making signatures for someone for 20 credits) The more credits the better, you can buy items in the store or pay someone else to do something for you.

Went for the premium renders and tutorials to help my skills. Sort of like scratch my back, i'll scratch yours.
Credits you earn by making a new post or replying to a post. 1 post = 1 credit You can use these to buy signatures in the Marketplace, Or in the Store that we have by looking at the top of the screen. Another way to gain credits is to sell Signatures in the Marketplace. Can't really explain rep though.
