Credits For Posting Turned Off Temporarily

yea now that i think of it, since its only temporay, it seems like a good idea to cut down on spamming

most of a forum is based on activeness..which obviously isn't a problem on here ...but... what better for a person who makes sigs to get feedback that his work is great..example:

"Hey Big Dave, great shop, i like the brushes you used, the background is great! the render is not my style however the sig still looks great..can you show me how to DO THAT?"

thats not spamming..^^ IMO..

 

Omg, But if you look there are people that say

"Your mom :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:"

And they like post the same thing in everytop and everywhere

 

Well its like an ordinary forum now so enjoy it before the competition or spam comes

 

Remember, I sell creds for less then dave. Who's Competition now dave?

 

hmmm... not sure if you do know but

1- Spam cannot be stopped unless you ban spammers
2- You already have this system where you only get 1 post and 1 credit per thread only! (like all other forums online give 1 post/1credit per post and not per thread)
3- Trading credits only works for those who actually have some talent... I'm new to photoshop and I just started playing around with it a few days ago.... and I hate limited time (student)... so I don't expect to be getting anything close to decent soon. So here's my question:

A) How am I gonna buy psd to learn from them?
B ) How am I gonna get a siggy done for me 'cause I don't like looking like a competely newb when everyone else has some gorgeous set of pictures/sigs/renders at the bottom of their posts?

If you're gonna stop credits for a while... hmmm how's that gonna stop spamming really? And if it does... when you bring back credits, spammers will appear again and spam... 'cause all you're doing is creating "lurker spammers" who will start spamming again when credits are implemented

 

Its only for a little while dont worry man

 

LOL, I'm not really bothered about the idea, its a good and bad thing. But I think it'll be for the greater good as the value of credz are beginning to go down

BTW: How come when I post I still get credz? :S

 

500 is a lil' much and you'd hav noobs making multiple accounts ta get more credz.

I say jst start off making renders, sigs and stuff like that

Use your imagination!!

If you don't have photoshop, become a poet, writer, hand drawer and sell that. If your bad at that do, make a tip shop where you'd give people advice in life and etc. - Good advice not "KILL YOUSELF"

there are MANY ways to stop people from making different accounts... you can have them verify their accounts or stop people from the same IP greating more than 1 account (though that could be a problem with siblings)... or whatever... poetry oO... who buys that?

 

Blackfuse, im sure if you make it so they post 25 times, you wont have that problem, and I love IP's
