Cpanel: Email Login

    When you make email accounts for people, for instance I have a clan (www.sinsnipers.com) and I made @sinsnipers.com emails, how do I let my clan members login to their email addresses without letting them sign in to the main CPanel account?

    try this address: https://yoursite.com:2096. (substitute 'your site' for the actual website addy. Should go directly to a webmail login without the control panel.

    login to the mail yourself and look where the url heads to :)

    It didn't work?

    I plugged in your address and it worked for me. I got a login screen. :huh:

    https://www.sinsnipers.com:2096.

    Did you use this exact URL? You have to use https because 2096 is the secure url. I think the unsecure without the certificate is ext. 2095

    Try this in Internet Explorer, not Firefox, Opera or any of that, just IE.

    http://Yourwebsite.domain:2082/

    Yourwebsite = whichever URL your site is
    .domain = the domain, for example: .com, .net, .org etc

    Glad I could help, somewhat. I've been buried in CPanel for the past three years being an Admin elsewhere.

    ok I'm back again, none of the links work, they work only for the login to the MAIN account not any of the other @sinsniper.com emails.....anyone else wanna take a shot at helping?

    get them to setup their account in outlook or thunderbird.

    mail.sinsniper.com is your incoming and outgoing server.

    Do you know outlook express?
    Get them to use that.

    Get them to set it up like that and when setting up it will ask for your servers. For both incoming and outcoming server it will be mail.sinsniper.com.
